Symptom:
WIPER PUMP SWITCH STUCK (EXPORT ONLY)
When Monitored and Set Condition:
WIPER PUMP SWITCH STUCK (EXPORT ONLY)
When Monitored: With the Ignition On.
Set Condition: This DTC will set if the BCM senses a prolonged voltage signal on the
Washer Switch Sense circuit.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
DTC PRESENT
WASHER SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO VOLTAGE
BODY CONTROL MODULE
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 With the DRBIIIt, record and erase DTC’s.
With the DRBIIIt, read DTC’s.
Attempt to operate the Headlamp Washers while monitoring the DRBIIIt.
Does the DRBIIIt display Wiper Pump Switch Stuck?
All
Yes → Go To 2
No → The condition that caused this DTC to set iscurrently not present.
Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the
related wiring harness and connectors for a possible intermittent
condition.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
2 Turn the ignition OFF.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C4 connector.
Turn the ignition ON.
Measure the voltage between ground and the Washer Switch Sense circuit.
Is the voltage above 5.0 volts?
All
Yes → Repair the Washer Switch Sense circuit for a short to voltage.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Replace the Body Control Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
