Symptom:
DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH STUCK DOWN
When Monitored and Set Condition:
DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH STUCK DOWN
When Monitored: Whenever the ignition is in the Run or Accessory position.
Set Condition: When the switch input is active for over 10 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
DTC PRESENT
SWITCH STUCK
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIIIt, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
With the DRBIIIt, read DTCs.
Does the DRBIIIt display DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH STUCK DOWN?
All
Yes → Replace the Window Switch.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → The condition that caused the code to set is not present at this
time. Operate the switch several times to ensure it does not stick.
If the switch ever sticks, replace it.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
