Symptom:
ABS MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED
When Monitored and Set Condition:
ABS MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED
When Monitored: With the ignition On.
Set Condition: The Instrument Cluster detects no ABS messages received for5±1
seconds.

INTERMITTENT CONDITION
NO RESPONSE - PCI BUS - ABS
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIIIt, attempt to I/D or communicate with the ABS Module.
Is there a response from the ABS Module?
All
Yes → Go To 2
No → Refer to symptom *NO RESPONSE FROM CAB CONTROLLER
in the Communication category.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
2 With the DRBIIIt, erase the DTC from the Instrument Cluster.
Cycle the ignition and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the DRBIIIt, read DTCs.
Did this DTC reset?
All
Yes → Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service
Information.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → The condition is not present at this time. Monitor DRBIIIt
parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Refer to any
Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually in-
spect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
