Driver or Pass Door or Decklid
Using the DRBIIIt monitor the ajar circuit indicated for intermit-
tent problems while manual operating the ajar switch. Also,
inspect related wiring. Adjust, repair or replace as necessary.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - 1A.
Ignition
Advise customer thatthe alarm mustbe disarmed priorto turning
the ignition on. Inspect wiring for intermittent problems or after
market add on that may cause this condition. Repair or replace as
necessary.

2 Ensure Hood is aligned and closes properly.
Remove the ignition key (but keep in hand).
Lock the vehicle and close doors, decklid and hood.
Allow the VTSS to arm.
Attempt to trip alarm by lightly tapping on hood near ajar switch to simulate wind
and noise vibration.
Did the VTSS trip to the alarming state?

Yes → Replace the hood ajar switch.
