CHECK DRBIIIt FOR HOOD AJAR SWITCH RESPONSE
BODY CONTROL MODULE
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 NOTE: For the results of this test to be valid, the vehicle theft security
system must arm and flash the VTSS indicator properly.
With the DRBIIIt, read the Hood Ajar Sw status.
Open the hood.
Does the DRBIIIt display CLOSED?
All
Yes → Replace the Body Control Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Refer to symptom HOOD AJAR CKT OPEN in the DOOR AJAR
category.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - 1A.
