TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
7 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the TPM Module harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the Low Tire Pressure Signal circuit in the TPM Module
connector.
Is there any voltage present?
All
Yes → Replace and program the TPM Module in accordance with the
Service Information.
Perform TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICA-
TION TEST.
No → Replace and program the BCM Module in accordance with the
Service Information.
Perform TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICA-
TION TEST.
8 Turn the ignition off.
Visually inspect the related wiring harness. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or
partially broken wires.
Visually inspect the related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed
out, or corroded terminals.
Refer to any Hotline letters or Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.
Were any problems found?
All
Yes → Repair as necessary.
Perform TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICA-
TION TEST.
No → Test Complete.
