Print Head Orientation
The illustration below and the illustration on the next page show the correct print head
orientations and the orientations to avoid.
• Orientations A1, A2 and A3 are recommended.
•
Orientations A7 and A8 are not recommended. These orientations will stop 1/3 of the ink in
the cartridge reaching the nozzles.
•
Do not install the print head in orientations A4, A5 and A6.
Side View
• Orientations B2, B3 and B4 are recommended.
• If the print head is installed in orientation B1 or B5, angle the print head downwards by a
minimum of 4°. Also, if the vertical DPI is set to 300, select the nozzle row that is lowest to
the ground for printing, see General Settings on page 105.
