6. Machine Accuracy Measurement and Adjustment
6.10 C-axis centerline and Y-axis movement squareness
① Place a block in the Y-axis direction
at a point about 150mm from the table top center,
set up an indicator on the spindle end at the “Y-150., X0.”
position and set the block
to “0 ”.
② Rotate the C-axis by 180°.
③
Transfer the Y-axis to the Y150. Position, and then measure the height with the
▶ Measurement position : Height of the same block position of Y-150. and Y150.
position
▶ Tolerance : 0.010mm / 300mm
Correction
Since the L/M Guide is assembled in the spindle head body, it is highly unlikely that the
C-axis centerline and the Y-axis direction movement squareness will be wrong. H
in the event of inaccuracy, check the following accuracies related and review the error
amount and direction before making the necessary corrections.
① 6.12 Table top and Y-axis feed parallelism
② 6.16 Table top run-out
③ 6.8 Spindle centerline and Y-axis movement squareness
If there is no irregularity in “② 6.16 Table top run-out” mentioned above, adjust the
accuracy by adjusting the Table Ass
