8. ATC Alignment and Finishing Operation
8.2 Coolant Tank Installation
1) Correct Position of Coolant Tank
① Untie the various cables and hoses wound around or tied to the back of the machine
and move them aside, then clean the installation position of the coolant tank.
② Push the Ass’y (assembled by placing the chip conveyor on the coolant tank at the
time of shipping) or lift it with a crane and push it into its place behind the machine.
▪ When pushing it into place, pay attention to the end of the
machine and the rows of chip conveyors inside the coolant tank to make sure that
it gets closer to the back of the bed.
the Coolant Pump Motor and Chip Conveyor Motor Cables
Extend the cable wound around the chip conveyor and coolant motor and run it through
the cable duct next to the coolant tank. Then assemble the connector plug according to
the connector socket number indicated on the connector box located under the machine
next to the electric cabinet.
