7. Adjustment of reference points of respective axes and manual TCP adjustment
Note) Forced reference point setting of the Z-axis
(1) Use the Test Bar, Indicator, Block Gage, etc. to measure the distance from
the table top to the Spindle Gage Line. (Refer to “Z-axis reference point
resetting” above.)
(2) Move the axis by the distance from the above adjusted position to the Z-
axis reference point (Z0.000).
▪ When transferring the axis in the Handle Mode, it is more convenient to
press [POS.]
[RELATIVE]
[(OPRT)]
[ORIGIN]
[EXEC] in
sequence on the main operation panel in order to change the Relative
Position of the axis to
0.000
and then move to the Z140.000 position.
(3) Change Parameter No.1815 “Z ” b4(APZ) from “1 ” to “0”.
☞ Where, “PW0000 POWER MUST BE OFF” and “P/S Alarm 300 nAxis
Need ZRN” alarms are triggered.
(4) Again, change Parameter No.1815 “Z” b4(APZ) from “0” to “1”, and
turn off emergency stop NC Power.
(5) In the case of NC Power On Machine Ready, when the machine’s
position on the CRT screen changes to the first origin point dimension
(Z0.000) described in the Parameter No. 1240 “Z” field, and the resetting
of the corresponding axis origin is completed.
※ If the forced reference point setting has been set, the position is
memorized regardless of Power “On/Off”. In the case of Servo Drive
Battery Alarm or if Parameter No. 1815 b4(APZ) becomes “0” (which
means that the reference point setting of the corresponding axis has
been lost), it will be necessary to reset the reference point again.
