II-4-1 Mesh Setup
Such page can determine the role of the VigorAP connecting to the computer physically. For a mesh root,
you can search and specify mesh nodes as members under current mesh group.
Available settings are explained as follows:
Item Description
Role Mesh Root – When VigorAP is connected to a Vigor router with a physical
Ethernet cable, it can be set as mesh root to deliver the wireless signals to
a mesh node AP.
Mesh Node – As a mesh node, such VigorAP can pass the wireless
connection signal to other mesh node or a remote device (PC, CPE, mobile
phone).
In addition, VigorAP can be searched by mesh root AP and join the mesh
group of the root AP. The configuration set for mesh root can be applied to
mesh node.
When Mesh Root is
selected
Log Level – Choose Basic or Detailed. Related information will be
shown on the Diagnostics>>System Log.
