Adjust the position of the paper
receiving tray.
Set to [A] to stack ejected paper diagonally.
Set to [B] to stack ejected paper straight.
Refer to Chapter 3 “7. Stacking the Folded
Paper” (p.3-23).

Press the test key.
Test fold two sheets of paper.
Test folded paper are not counted in the
number of sheets processed.
• DF-980
If this machine does not start by pressing the test key, automatic detection of paper size may
not function. Check the paper feed guide is set appropriately to the scale of paper size.
• DF-970
If this machine does not start by pressing the test key, check the paper set lever is lowered.

Check the nish of test folding.
Check for folding misalignment using the
second test folded sample.
When folding misalignment occurs, refer to
