. Press the tail edge of the cover
against the positioning fingers, then
move the cover stoppers to the
leading edge of the cover.

. Align the cover with the book block
using the nipper guide adjustments.
Before turning the nipper guide
adjustment, loosen the knob screw.

Turn the nipper guide adjustment so that
the guide line aligns with the center line on
the label.

Adjustable range 4 mm (0.16 inch)
After adjusting the nipper guide, if the
positioning fingers are away from the tail
edge of the cover, turn the positioning finger
adjustment to move the positioning fingers.
Turning the positioning fingers adjustment
to the operator's side (downward) will move
the positioning finger to the left and turning
it to the non-operator's side (upward) will
move the positioning finger to the right (base
position) within a range of 0 to 4 mm (0.16
inch).
