. Adjust the position of the nipper
guides on the touch panel screen so
that the nipper base line of the nipper
(non-operator's side) is parallel to
the scoring base line.
Do not touch the nipping section while
the machine is in operation. Your fingers
may get caught in the nipper.
You can fine adjust the scoring width
with the main cover open. After
completing the fine-adjustment, make
sure that you close the cover.
1) Press the fine-adjustment tab on the
main menu.
Nipping Guide
Select Button
2) Press the nipper guide select button.
The screen for adjusting the nipper guide
will appear and the nipping station will
go up. If you have not performed a size
change, the screen will not appear.
3) Press the move buttons 1 to 4 to adjust the positions of the nipper guide (front) and
nipper guide (back).
Fine-adjustment range: ±25.0 mm (0.98 inch)
Move button 1: The nipper guides (front, back) move to the non-operator’s side.
Move button 2: The nipper guides (front, back) move to the operator’s side.
Move button 3: The nipper guides (front, back) move closer to each other.
Move button 4: The nipper guides (front, back) move farther from each other.
Increment change button:
You can select the increment from 0.1 mm/0.5 mm/1.0 mm (0.004 inch/0.02 inch/0.04 inch).
: 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)
: 0.5 mm (0.02 inch)
: 1.0 mm (0.04 inch)
