3-1. Adjusting the Position of the Sub-Guide

A3 paper

Adjust the position of the sub-guide
of the vertical conveyance board
according to the paper size.
For example, adjust the sub-guide for using A3
(SEF*) paper at the position shown in the right
gure.
* SEF (Short Edge Feeding)
A method of feeding paper with the short
edge leading.
Insert the sub-guide into the groove at the
same position of the upper and lower stays.
2. Power On
<When Connected>

Main power switch

Check that the power switches of all the
towers are set to “ ”.
Set the main power switches of all the
towers to “I”.

Set the power switch of Tower A to “I”.
Set the power switch of Tower A to “ ”
after completing operations.
Make sure to set the power switches of B
tower and the following towers to “ ” side.
If the power switches are set to “|” side, the
system will not start normally.
<Stand-Alone>

Set the main power switch to the “I” side.

Set the power switch to the “I” side.
Set the power switch and main power switch to the " ” side after operations end.
