Service brake („foot brake“) (76)
There is a brake pedal each before the
driver's seats on the LH and RH sides.
The service brake acts within the ma-
chine drive.
A
Upon operating the brake, the machine
drive is regulated to stop automatically
(regardless of the position of the drive le-
ver).
Parking brake („Hand Brake“) (77)
The brake lever is located on the left
hand side of the driver's seat (optionally
on both sides). The parking brake mechanically acts on one disc brake on the main
drive shaft.
f
When stopping the paver finisher always apply the brake!
Change lever of the two-stage trans-
mission (78)
The change lever has three positions:
= working stage
0 = neutral
= travel stage
m
Before changing over pull in the parking
brake. Only change the speed when the
paver finisher is at a standstill!
- If the speed cannot be changed,
slightly move the drive lever.
m
When towing the paver finisher (e.g. when the Diesel engine failed) use the neutral
position. Otherwise the transmission may fail.
With the hare / tortoise positions the drive lever can be set to 4 different positions:
Combination Use
Paving speed slow
Travel speed slow
Paving speed fast
