*RST
Clears all pending operations, and resets the instrument to the default RESET condition as
described in the instrument user manual with two exceptions:
1) No change is made to the remote interface parameters (interface type, baud rate and
IEEE address).
2) The trigger mode is set to SINGLE (INITiate:CONTinuous OFF).
For IEEE only, this also resets the Operation Complete Command State and Operation Complete
Query State (clears bit 0 of Standard Event Register).
The default conditions that are forced are:
Range: 30KOHM, AUTO1
Current: 100%, +I
Read Rate: SLOW
Trigger Mode: CONT:OFF (Single), STOP
Measurement Limits: OFF, Alarm ON, Lower Limit = 0, Upper Limit = 30K
Filter: OFF, 10 readings
Settling Algorithm: OFF, 10 readings, 10 digits limit
Open Circuit Limit: OFF
Temp Compensation: OFF, MAN, +20C, Cu, USER = 3980, Ref Temp = +20C
Data Logger: OFF, Count = 10, Datalog Memory unchanged.
READ? or FETCh?: Set to FRESistance.
Talk Only mode: OFF
Analogue Output OFF
All other functions and parameters are left unchanged by *RST.
*TST?
Always returns ‘0’ to indicate self-test OK.
*WAI
This command is accepted by both interfaces, but ignored as all commands are executed
sequentially. It is provided only for compatibility with IEEE-488.2.
