MMX-NET-XA
Mounting frame for fieldbus connection
The MMX-NET-XA mounting frame enables the mounting and
connection of fieldbus interface cards to the frequency inverter of
the M-Max™ series.
MMX-NET-XA consists of the two housing sections:
• The mounting plate with the 24-pole socket, pluggable
connection cable and the ground terminal (shielding, GND, PE).
• The cover for holding and protecting the fieldbus interface card.
The MMX-NET-XA mounting plate is fitted on the right-hand side
(view from front of the keypad) of the MMX frequency inverter. For
this the cover of the interface in the MMX must first be removed.
The mounting plate is fitted without tools to the corresponding
cutouts in the housing of the MMX (snap fitting). Plug and
connection cable are then fitted to the interface of the MMX.
You can then fit a fieldbus interface card (CANopen, PROFIBUS DP
etc.) in the cover of the mounting frame.
Fit the cover with the fitted fieldbus interface card on the
mounting plate of the MMX-NET-XA.
The connections to the selected fieldbus system can then be
established directly on the module through the opening in the
mounting frame.

The MMX-NET-XA mounting frame is not supplied with
the M-Max™ frequency inverter.

Before installing the fieldbus interface card check whether
the plug connection provided, such as GND or bus
terminal resistor have to be changed.
