Adjusting sound quality
How to operate the unit with an optional 5.1 ch decoder/AV matrix unit connected
Compression adjusts the sound sensation range, or the difference between maximum and
minimum when playing a DVD with Dolby Digital (5.1 ch) or DTS (5.1 ch). Raising the
numerical value of the compression level will narrow the sound range so that dialog and voice
will be easier to hear even when background sounds are intense.
