Analog output
Through setting of the interface as analog output, the sens3 supplies the output with a current
between 4 and 20 mA.
This current cannot drive any inductive loads or relays.
Different functions are available for this:
Function
Description
Setting over Modbus
The current on the output is set by the value in the Modbus
register. The output is updated in 5 ms intervals.
Power input
The current on the output is proportional to the power input.
The user must determine how many watts (W) form the upper
limit and are equal 20 mA.
Power output
The same as with the power input, only that the upper limit for
the power output is entered.
Current source
Current source with fixed value x mA
Total active power
The current on the output is proportional to the total active
power. The upper and lower limit must be configured (4 mA =
xW; 20 mA = yW).
