1.3 FILLING THE WASH, RINSE,
AND OPTIONAL CHEMICAL
ISOLATION TANKS
When starting up the Aquastorm 200™
for the
first time or when the Wash, Rinse, or optional
Chemical Isolation tanks have been drained for
maintenance purposes, the tanks must be filled
by manually pressing the Fill control for the
respective tanks. This activates the fill solenoid
to commence filling the tank.
Heaters do not activate until the tank liquid level
has reached the operating level float switch
(middle green level indicator illuminates).
NOTE The tanks will not fill if the facility
water supply to the Aquastorm
200™ is not activated.
Press the following controls in the sequence they
are presented, enabling power to system circuits:
Press the System Main Power On Control.
The following circuits are now enabled:
• Optional Enhanced Chemical Isolation
Blower is enabled
• Wash, Rinse, and Optional Chemical
Isolation Tank fill solenoids are enabled
but not activated (the operator must press
the Fill control for the respective tanks to
activate the fill solenoids).
• Immersion Heater On indicators
illuminate green, indicating the tank
heaters are activated (if tanks are full)
• Optional Status Tower illuminates amber
while tanks fill and come up to
temperature.
• All other sub-systems are enabled
• The red Main Power Off Control indicator
turns off.
Once the water level in the Wash, Rinse, and
Optional Chemical Isolation tanks have reached
the high make-up level float switch, the fill
solenoids turn off. Water is not added again until
the water level in the tank(s) drop below the
operating level switch in the wash, rinse, and
Optional Chemical Isolation tanks.
