Start-Up and Operation 3-41
4.3 INITIAL START-UP
When starting the Aquastorm 200™ for the first
time, the system parameter settings are at factory
defaults. The system software default settings are
as follows:
WASH 65 ˚C 150 ˚F
CHEM_ISO 65 ˚C 150 ˚F
RINSE 65 ˚C 150 ˚F
DRYER_1
IR_HEATER 65 ˚C 150 ˚F
CONVEYOR (No Default - must be set)
Before operating pumps, blowers, and optional
Radiant Heaters, it will be necessary to change
one (1) or more of the default parameter settings.
To adjust temperature setpoints refer to page 2-
5 of Division 2, "Adjusting Tank Temperatures".
To adjust conveyor speed refer to page 2-6 of
Division 2, "Adjusting the Conveyor Speed".
To fill the system tanks on initial start-up - Not
using the Auto Timer feature - refer to page 2-4
of Division 2, "1.3 Filling the Wash, Rinse and
Optional Chemical Isolation Tanks".
To start the system using the Auto Timer feature,
go to page 3-32 of this manual after setting tank
temperatures and conveyor speed.
4.4 ACTIVATING SUBSYSTEMS
Press the Conveyor On Control to
activate the conveyor.
Press the Hurricane Pump On/Off
Control under the Wash section of the
Main Keypad to activate the Wash/
Hurricane pump.
The wash section spray nozzles and
optional Hurricane Jet, and the prewash
section spray nozzles energize.
Press the Blower On/Off Control under
the Chemical Isolation section of the
Main Keypad to activate the Optional
Dragout Blower.
The blower air knives in the optional
Chemical Isolation section energize.
Press the On/Off Control under
the Chemical Isolation section of the
Main Keypad to activate the Optional
internal chemical pump, or external feed
solenoid.
The spray nozzles in the optional
Chemical Isolation section energize.
Press the Hurricane Pump On/Off
Control under the Rinse section of the
Main Keypad to activate the Rinse/
Hurricane pump.
The rinse section spray nozzles and
optional Hurricane Jet energize.
Press the Final Rinse On/Off Control to
activate the Final Rinse solenoid and the
optional Treatment Interface pump.
The final rinse solenoid and spray nozzles
and optional treatment pump energize.
Press Blower #1 On/Off Control
activate the blower #1.
Press Blower #2 On/Off Control
activate the blower #2.
NOTE If configured with Blower
#3 and #4 also press
these controls for blower
activation.
Press the Radiant Heater On/Off
Control to activate the radiant heaters.
