MES3000 Ethernet switch series 49
Delete the file from the device flash memory.
*.prv, image-1 and image-2 files cannot be removed.
Delete the initial configuration file.
boot system [unit unit]
{image1 | image-2}
Define the system firmware file, that will be loaded on startup.
- unit—number of the device in a stack (for standalone switch, this
parameter is not used)
show {startup-config |
running-config} [aaa | acl |

Show contents of the initial configuration file (startup-config) or
the current configuration file (running-config).
To reduce the amount of shown data, you can select a specific
configuration section.
List of existing configuration sections:
- aaa—authorization, authentication and accounting (AAA)
parameter settings
- acl—access list configuration
- dhcp—DHCP server, DHCP relay function configuration
- eaps—EAPS protocol configuration
- ip-address—IP interface configuratiion
- channel-group—port group (port-channel) configuration
- multicast—multicast routing configuration—IGMP Proxy, IGMP
Snooping
- management—device management and access configuration for
web, SSH, Telnet services
- selective-qinq—Selective Q-in-Q configuration
- qos—QoS parameter configuration

- sntp—SNTP configuration
- syslog—syslog configuratiion
- spanning-tree—configuration of Spanning Tree family of
protocols
- vlan—VLAN configuration
- interfaces—configuration of the switch interfaces—physical
interfaces, interface groups (port-channel), VLAN interfaces
Show the active system firmware file that device loads on startup.
- unit—number of the device in a stack
Parameter unit is available in the stackable mode only.
write [memory | terminal]
Save the current configuration into the initial configuration file.
Change the filename.
- url—current filename
- new-url—new filename
There are some forbidden combinations of location and destination. Copying is impossible in
the following circumstances:
– If source and target files are the same
– X-modem cannot be used as a destination. Using X-modem, you can copy the
file from the source address into the system firmware file, startup file or null
– TFTP server cannot be used as source address and destination address for a
single copy command
– *.prv files cannot be copied
– Copying from/to the stack devices operating in the slave mode is possible only
for the system firmware file and the load file
Table 5.21 —Copy indicator description
Exclamation mark means that the copying process is going smoothly. Each exclamation
mark indicates successful transmission of ten packets (512 bytes each).
Dot means that the copying process was interrupted. Multiple dots in succession mean
that the error occurred during the copying.
