7.3 Temperature compensation
The temperature coefficient indicates the
change in conductivity per degree of
temperature. It is dependent on the chemical
composition of the solution and on its
concentration and temperature).
Salt solutions (NaCl) have a non-linear
temperature coefficient. The NaCl
characteristic at 18 °C (as per IEC 746 for low
concentrations) is stored in the instrument.
