Checking Printer Status and Managing Print Jobs for Windows
After you send a print job, an
EPSON Stylus COLOR 980
button
appears on the taskbar. Click this button to open the EPSON Spool
Manager, where you can view print status information about the
print jobs that have been sent to the printer. You can also cancel,
pause and resume, or restart a print job by selecting it in the list
and clicking the appropriate button.
Using EPSON Status Monitor 3
EPSON Status Monitor 3 displays detailed printer status
information.

Before using EPSON Status Monitor 3, be sure to read its README
file. To open this file, click
Start
, point to
Programs
and then to

Accessing EPSON Status Monitor 3
The two ways to access EPSON Status Monitor 3 are as follows:

Double-click the printer-shaped shortcut icon on the
Windows taskbar. To add a shortcut icon to the taskbar, see
“Monitoring Preferences” on page 3-42.

Open the printer driver, click the
Utility
tab, then click the
EPSON Status Monitor 3
button.
