Placing Originals on the ADF for 2-up Copying
When you select A4, 2-up Copy as the layout setting, make sure the orientation of the original matches the
document orientation setting.
❏ For portrait documents: Place the original in the ADF as shown, and then select Portrait as the Document
Orientation setting.
❏ For landscape documents: Place the original in the ADF as shown, and then select Landscape as the Document
Orientation setting.

Be careful not to trap your hand or ngers when opening or closing the document cover. Otherwise you may be
injured.

When placing bulky originals such as books, prevent exterior light from shining directly onto the scanner glass.
