• In areas with lo w-hanging branc hes or obstacles
• Loading the mac hine for transpor t
• Dri ving up slopes
Operate the mac hine with the platfor m do wn for the
follo wing conditions:
• Using the mac hine in most areas
• Dri ving across slopes
• Dri ving do wn slopes
T o raise the platfor m, pull out the knob and lift the
platfor m. Push the platfor m tight ag ainst the cushion
for the latc h pin to loc k it into place .
T o lo w er the platfor m, push the platfor m forw ard
ag ainst the cushion to release pressure on the latc h
pin, then pull the knob out and lo w er the platfor m.

Driving the Machine
Important: Back the machine o v er curbs, 1
wheel at a time; dri ving it f orw ard o v er curbs
could dama ge the machine.
CAUTION
P ositioning one lev er too f ar in fr ont of the other
causes the machine to spin v er y rapidl y . As a
r esult, y ou may lose contr ol of the machine,
causing per sonal injur y to y ou and dama ge to
the machine.
