Important: Do not mo v e the machine f aster
than 8 km/h (5 mph).
7. Immediately after mo ving the mac hine , eng ag e
the transmission for operation.
A. Inser t a ratc het with a 3/8 inc h dri v e into the
square hole in the motor hub .
B . R otate it cloc kwise until it stops (appro ximately
4 full rotations).
C . T or que to 41 to 68 N∙m (30 to 50 ft-lb).

Use a hea vy-duty trailer or tr uc k to transpor t the
mac hine . Use a full-width ramp . Ensure that the
trailer or tr uc k has all the necessar y brak es , lighting,
and marking as required b y la w . Please carefully read
all the safety instr uctions . Kno wing this infor mation
could help y ou or b ystanders a v oid injur y . R efer
to y our local ordinances for trailer and tie-do wn
requirements .
W ARNING
Dri ving on the str eet or r oad w ay without
tur n signals, lights, r eecti v e mar kings, or a
slo w-mo ving-v ehicle emblem is danger ous and
can lead to accidents, causing per sonal injur y .
Do not dri v e the machine on a public str eet or
r oad w ay .
W ARNING
Loading a machine onto a trailer or tr uck
incr eases the possibility of backw ard tip-o v er and
could cause serious injur y or death.
Use onl y full-width ramps; do not use
indi vidual ramps f or each side of the machine.
Ensur e that the length of ramp is at least 4
times as long as the height of the trailer or
tr uck bed to the g r ound.
Use extr eme caution when operating a
machine on a ramp .
Back the machine up the ramp and w alk it
f orw ard do wn the ramp .
A v oid sudden acceleration or deceleration
while dri ving the machine on a ramp as this
could cause a loss of contr ol or a tip-o v er
situation.
