4. Place the upper J-hook spring end into the slot
of the disc harg e deector brac k et and hook it to
the outside of the brac k et as sho wn in Figure 77 .
T he lo w er J-hook spring end is located ag ainst the
inner dec k disc harg e plate .
5. Contin ue to inser t the bolt through the other
disc harg e deector tab and dec k tab and install
the loc kn ut.
Important: T he g rass deector must be a ble
to r otate. Lift the deector up to the full open
position, and ensur e that it r otates into the
full-do wn position.

R emo v e the g rass buildup under the mo w er daily .

machine. W ater can dama ge the motor s and
other electric components. Use compr essed air
to clean de bris fr om the machine.

1. P ark the mac hine on a lev el surface , diseng ag e
the PTO , and mo v e the motion-control lev ers
outw ard to the P ark position.
2. Shut off the mac hine , remo v e the k ey , and w ait
for all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving the
operating position.
3. T ur n the batter y-disconnect switc h to the Off
position.
4. Raise the front of the mac hine and use jac k stands
to suppor t the mo w er .
5. Clean debris from the mac hine using compressed
air .
Disposing of W aste
Engine oil, batteries , h y draulic uid, and engine
coolant are pollutants to the en vironment. Dispose
of these according to y our state and local regulations .
