Operation
• Do not c harg e a frozen batter y .
• Do not abuse the cord. Do not car r y the c harg er
b y the cord or yank on the po w er supply cord to
disconnect the c harg er from the rece ptacle . K ee p
the cord from heat, oil, and shar p edg es .
• Connect the c harg er directly to a g rounding
rece ptacle . Do not use the c harg er on an
ung rounded outlet, ev en with a g rounding
adapter .
• Do not alter the pro vided po w er cord or plug .
• R emo v e metal items suc h as rings , bracelets ,
nec klaces , and w atc hes when w orking with a
lithium-ion batter y . A lithium-ion batter y can
produce enough cur rent to cause a sev ere bur n.
• Nev er operate the c harg er without g ood visibility
or light.
• Use an extension cord capable of handling 15 A
or more . If y ou are c harging outdoors , use an
extension cord rated for outdoor use .
• If the po w er supply cord is damag ed while it is
plug g ed in, disconnect the cord from the w all
rece ptacle and contact an A uthorized Ser vice
Dealer for a re placement.
• Unplug the c harg er from the electrical outlet
when not in use , before mo ving it to another
location, or prior to ser vicing it.
Maintenance and Storage
• Store the c harg er indoors in a dr y , secure place
that is out of the reac h of unauthorized users .
• Do not disassemble the c harg er . T ak e the c harg er
to an A uthorized Ser vice Dealer when ser vice or
re pair is required.
• Unplug the po w er cord from the outlet before
star ting any maintenance or cleaning to reduce
risk of electric shoc k.
• Maintain or re place safety and instr uction labels
as needed.
• Do not operate the c harg er with a damag ed cord
or plug . Contact an A uthorized Ser vice Dealer to
obtain a re placement cord.
• If the c harg er has recei v ed an impact, been
dropped, or otherwise damag ed, do not use it;
tak e it to an A uthorized Ser vice Dealer .
Moving a Non-Functioning Machine
Important: Do not to w the machine without
r st disenga ging the transmission, otherwise y ou
could dama ge motor components.
CAUTION
T he machine does not ha v e brak es when
the transmission is disenga ged. It will r oll
uncontr olled, possibl y causing injur y .
If y ou must to w the machine, install the T o w
Bar Assembl y Kit to pr ev ent the machine fr om
colliding with the to wing v ehicle. Contact y our
Authoriz ed Ser vice Dealer to obtain the kit.
1. Diseng ag e the PTO and mo v e the motion-control
lev ers outw ard to the P ark position.
2. Shut off the mac hine , remo v e the k ey , and w ait
for all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving the
operating position.
3. R emo v e the cap from the motor .

4. Inser t a ratc het with a 3/8 inc h dri v e into
the square hole in the motor hub . R otate it
countercloc kwise until it stops (appro ximately
4 full rotations) to diseng ag e the transmission.
T or que to 41 to 68 N∙m (30 to 50 ft-lb).
Note: T he wheel will spin freely .
