14. Apply thread-loc king adhesi v e to the second
spacer n ut, threading it onto the axle with the
wrenc h ats facing outw ard.
15. T or que the n ut to 8 to 9 N∙m (71 to 80 in-lb),
loosen it, then tor que it to 2 to 3 N∙m (20 to 25
in-lb).
Note: Mak e sure that the axle does not extend
bey ond either n ut.
16. Install the seal guards o v er the wheel hub and
inser t the wheel into the caster fork.
17. Install the caster bolt and tighten the n ut fully .
Important: T o pr ev ent seal and bearing dama ge,
check the bearing adjustment often by spinning
the caster wheel. T he wheel should not spin
fr eel y (mor e than 1 or 2 r ev olutions) or ha v e
an y side play . If the wheel spins fr eel y , adjust
the torque on the spacer n ut until ther e is a
slight amount of dra g , then appl y thr ead-locking
adhesi v e.

Using the Battery-Disconnect Switch
1. P ark the mac hine on a lev el surface , diseng ag e
the PTO , and mo v e the motion-control lev ers
outw ard to the P ark position.
2. Shut off the mac hine , remo v e the k ey , and w ait
for all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving the
operating position.
3. Unplug the batter y c harg er if it is connected.
4. P osition the batter y disconnect switc h to
electrically de-energize or energize the mac hine .
