1. Cam
2. Bolt
8. Adjust the cam until it aligns with the front or rear
reference bar and tighten the bolt for the cam.
Note: Mo ving the cam cloc kwise lo w ers the
handle; mo ving the cam countercloc kwise raises
the handle .
Important: Ensur e that the at por tion of
the cam does not go a bo v e a v er tical position
(right or left); otherwise y ou may dama ge the
s witch.
9. Install the rear access co v er and operator cushion.

Servicing the Cutting Blades
T o ensure a superior quality of cut, k ee p the blades
shar p . F or con v enient shar pening and re placement,
k ee p extra blades on hand.
Before Inspecting or Servicing the
Blades
1. P ark the mac hine on a lev el surface , diseng ag e
the PTO , and mo v e the motion-control lev ers
outw ard to the P ark position.
2. Shut off the mac hine , remo v e the k ey , and w ait
for all mo ving par ts to stop before lea ving the
operating position.
3. Unplug the batter y c harg er if it is connected.
4. T ur n the batter y-disconnect switc h to the Off
position.
Inspecting the Blades
Service Interval : Before each use or daily
1. Inspect the cutting edg es .
2. If the edg es are not shar p or ha v e nic ks ,
remo v e and shar pen the blade; refer to
Shar pening the Blades ( pag e 46 ) .
3. Inspect the blades , especially in the cur v ed area.
4. If y ou notice any crac ks , w ear , or a slot for ming in
this area, immediately install a new blade .
