Cylinder head nuts and exhaust pipe bolts
Tighten at 500 km, and each service.
If cylinder head nuts are not tightened to the
specified torque, may result in leakage of
compressed fuel-air mixture and reduce output,
tighten the cylinder head nuts in the following
procedures:
1 Remove the frame lower covers.
2 Remove the cylinder head cover bolt.
3 Remove spark plug cap.
4 Tighten the nuts evenly one by one to the
their specified torque. Tighten the nuts in the
order indicated.

Remove carbon every 6000 km4000
miles12 months
Carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and the
cylinder head will raise the compression ratio and may cause
preignition and overheating. Carbon deposited at the exhaust
port of the cylinder will prevent the flow of exhaust gases,
reducing the output. Remove carbon deposits periodically.
