ENGINE Reassembly
Reassembly is generally performed in the reverse order of
disassembly, but there are a number of reassembling steps
that demand or deserve detailed explanation or emphasis.
These steps will be taken up for respective parts and
components.
Oil seals
fit the oil seals to the crankcase following the procedure
below. Replace removed oil seals with new ones.
z Lubricate the edge of oil seal
z Install oil seal into crankcase carefully with special tool.
Oil seal installation
Bearing
Install new bearing with special tool
Install bearing
First heat up the cover and cool
down the bearing. The install
would be much easier and better
for the bearing.
