4.3.4 Conclude the teach procedure
Adaption The positioning behaviour is monitored continuously during
operation. Internal characteristic values are adapted here to
the actual state of the drive, e.g. in order to compensate for
wear etc. during the service period.
After commissioning, the positioning behaviour improves by
adaption automatically after approximately 20 to 30 strokes.
Therefore, after teaching the end positions and intermediate
positions, always allow 20 to 30 positioning cycles to be car-
ried out.
4.3.5 Carry out the teach procedure again
When the SPC11 is ready to operate, the te ach procedure can
be started again, e.g. with the aid of the Teach button. The
SPC11 then indicates readiness to carry out the teach pro-
cedure (t flashes). The procedure can then be discontinued if
the power supply is switched off. If the Teach button is
pressed again (for at least 2 seconds), the teach procedure
will be started (see section 4.3.2).
If the end positions are taught again, the adaption values will
be deleted. Intermediate positions already taught are re-
tained.
Please note
If, after you have taught the end positions again, the previ-
ously taught intermediate positions (P.03 and P.04) now lie
outside the positioning range, positioning commands to
move to the intermediate positions will be quitted with
error I14. As soon as the intermediate positions lie again in
the permitted positioning range by adjustment of the end
stops and teaching again of the end positions, positioning
commands to move to the intermediate positions will be
carried out again.
