4.4.4 Use the taught intermediate position as the sensor position
The taught intermediate positions can also be used as sensor
positions, as the relevant output bit supplies a 1-signal for
50 ms if the intermediate positions are overrun.
Example 1: Change of direction
Please note
If the SPC11 is to be controlled directly by means of the
“sensor signal,” note that:
the distance between the taught intermediate position
and the mechanical end position must be of sufficient
length, as the braking process is not started until the
signal is recognized.
A premature change of direction can be implemented with the
aid of a taught intermediate position. The relevant output bit
(O3...O4) of the SPC11 supplies a 1-signal fo r 50 ms when the
moveable mass has traversed the relevant path. The move-
able mass is then moved back to the end position by means
of an input signal.
