Incorrect direction of movement ascertained
during identification; tubing is incorrectly

S Correct the tubing of the propor-
tional directional control valve.
Offset fault in the static identification:
The proportional directional control valve is
faulty or there is an external fluctuating
force on the slide during identification
travel.
S R eplace t he propor tional direc-
tional control valve or use the
constant external force during
identification travel.
No movement during sta tic identification. S Check the compressed air supply
and the tubing.
Overswing fault during dynamic identifica-
tion due to incorrect amplification stage,
cushioning stage or system parameter.
