Cal Ohms Low Source
The UUT connection is the same as cal Ohms Hi Source, it is shown in Figure 20.
From the Calibration Menu, enter the cal step for Cal Ohms Low Source. The PC
displays:
2500 into DAC. Enter Ohms displayed :
Set the Fluke 8508A to read 4 terminal Ohms. When the reading on the Fluke 8508A has
stabilized, enter the value in Ohms on the PC, then press Enter. After a short while, the
PC displays:
Max value into DAC. Enter Ohms value displayed :
Enter the resistance reading from the Fluke 8508A in the PC, then press Enter. After a
short while, the PC displays the following calibration constants and new prompt:
Gain = 0.006910
y intercept = -57
= 451.459980 - 17.670000 )/ 65279.00 - press space bar to continue
Pressing the space bar will return to the Calibration menu.
