18 RUBY 10 Advanced Features and Functions
Default Mode and Advanced Mode
Your device is set to Default mode when you first use it. Default mode
presents a limited, easy-to-use user interface that provides the core
features that most users want. Once you become familiar with RUBY 10,
you may wish to try out Advanced mode, which offers more functionality.
To change to Advanced mode, tap the screen to display the on-screen
buttons, then go to Main Menu > Advanced Mode.
Note: If your device does not have the Advanced Mode icon and you
want to use this mode, contact your point of purchase.
Default Mode
In Default mode, you cannot perform these functions:
Save a file
Capture or update multipage documents
Connect via Miracast
Manage files
Import or export documents
Create text files
Maintain device storage
