Text Mode button
In a document, you can press the gray Text Mode button to toggle through
viewing modes and determine the best way to read the current text. The
first viewing mode is set according to the default selected in the Viewing
Modes screen, where you also set the default highlighting and whether
lines or masks are used.
In an image, the gray Text Mode button toggles through lines, masks, or
neither.
Viewing Modes Screen
To change the way recognized text is displayed or highlighted by default:
1. Tap the screen to display the on-screen buttons.
2. Go to Main Menu > Settings > Reading Settings > Viewing Modes.
3. Toggle the top right button to select the default viewing mode. The
Viewing Modes screen displays a sample of the current viewing mode
while the toggle button displays the next mode in the cycle.
Snapshot mode shows a full screen of text without high
contrast color.
Teleprompter mode shows text in paragraph form
using high contrast color.
Tickertape mode shows one line of text at a time using
high contrast color.
Note: Zones are not available in the Viewing Modes screen and
cannot be selected as the default mode.
