Managing Files
In Advanced mode, RUBY 10’s file manager enables you to view, store,
delete, import, and export files. You can also add or re-record a file’s audio
tag.
On the Main Menu, tap the File Manager icon to display the Files screen.
This screen has two tabs, Images and Document, which list the files
saved on RUBY 10.
Icons represent the file type. RUBY 10 supports the following image files:
JPEG, BMP, WebP, and PNG. RUBY 10 supports the following document
files: DocX, PDF, RTF, and TXT.
A multi-page file is VCB (Vispero Compressed Book), which can be
comprised of images and/or text.
Files are ordered by the capture date, or date modified, and the most
recent file is at the top.
The system file name, displayed below the file type, cannot be changed.
Opening and Editing a File
To open or edit a file, tap the screen to display the on-screen buttons, then
go to Main Menu > File Manager. The Files screen displays.
Go to the Images tab for files with these extensions: BMP, JPEG, PNG,
and WebP.
