Color Modes
Press the blue Color Mode button on the left side of RUBY 10 to cycle
through true color, grayscale, and your choice of color combinations. Color
modes can be applied during Live view or after an image has been saved.
Tap to Focus and Show/Hide On-screen Buttons
In any position, you can tap the screen to focus on one part of the picture.
Automatic focus occurs regardless of whether focus lock is on or off.
Tapping the screen also displays the on-screen buttons.
Focus Lock
The Focus Lock button is available when using the Overview camera and
the Full-page camera. Tapping this button locks the focus at its current
position, while tapping it again unlocks it.
Light
A light comes on automatically when using any camera. However, you can
turn the light off or on by tapping the Light button. The availability of this
button depends on the mode and camera used.
Turn light off Turn light on
When lights come on, they brighten gradually, reaching full strength in
about five seconds to reduce eye strain. For heat protection, the power
supplied to the lights is based on the temperature of the device.
Lines and Masks
You can toggle between lines and masks by pressing the gray Text Mode
button. Both help you keep your place on the screen. To move a line, drag
it on the touch screen. To change the size of the masked area, drag the
boundary. A short press of the Text Mode button returns to normal view.
