When you are finished speaking the name of the audio
tag, tap the Stop button.
To delete the audio tag, tap the Delete button and
confirm the deletion by tapping Yes.
Reading Language and Voice
RUBY 10 Speech reads text aloud using the reading language and voice
that was set when you scanned the file. It identifies paragraphs and bold,
italicized, and underlined text as it reads.
To set the reading language and voice, tap the screen to display the
on-screen buttons, then go to Main Menu > Settings > Reading Settings
> Reading Language. The default is English.
You can set only one language and one voice at a time for reading. If you
were studying French, for example, then you could change the reading
language to French. When you were ready to switch back to homework in
English, you could reset the language to English.
When you open a text file you captured earlier, you hear the same reading
language and voice that was set when you saved it. To delete the language
and voice saved with the file and revert to the reading language and voice
currently set, go to the Editing File screen and tap the Edit button next to
the language.
