Intended use The power source is intended exclusively for MIG/MAG, rod electrode, and TIG welding.
Utilization for any other purpose, or in any other manner, shall be deemed to be not in
accordance with the intended purpose.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damages arising from such use.
Intended use also means:
- Following all the instructions in these Operating Instructions
- Carrying out all the specified inspection and maintenance work
Setup regulations The device has been tested according to degree of protection IP 23. This means:
- Protection against penetration by solid foreign bodies with diameters > 12 mm (0.49
in.)
- Protection against spraywater at any angle up to 60° from the vertical
The device can be set up and operated outdoors in accordance with protection class IP
23.
Direct moisture (e.g., from rain) must be avoided.

Danger from machines falling or toppling over.
This can result in severe personal injury and damage to property.

Always place the device on a solid, level surface.

Danger of electrical current due to electrically conductive dust in the device.
This can result in severe personal injury and damage to property.

Only operate the device if an air filter is fitted. The air filter is a very important safety
device for achieving IP 23 protection.
The ventilation channel is a very important safety device. When choosing the device loc-
ation, ensure that the cooling air can enter and exit unhindered through the ventilation
openings on the front and back of the device. Electroconductive metallic dust (e.g., from
grinding work) must not be allowed to get sucked into the device.
