[Cause] There is a problem with the customized program registered on the machine.
[Remedy] Check the followings:
z
The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings, there may
be a network failure or a DNS server failure. Consult your system
administrator.
016-414
[Cause] A network error occurred.
[Remedy] Check the followings:
z
The LAN cable connection
z
The IP address setting
z
The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
z
The proxy server setting
z
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings, there may
be a network failure. Consult your system administrator.
016-417
[Cause] Communications with the Xerox Communication server failed.
[Remedy] Check the followings:
z
The IP address setting
z
The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
z
The server verification feature of the destination server is disabled
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings, there may
be a network failure. Consult your system administrator.
016-450
[Cause] The SMB host name already exists.
[Remedy] Change the host name.
Refer to "Host Name" (P.153).
016-453
[Cause] Updating of the IPv6 address and host name for the DNS server failed.
[Remedy] Check whether the IP address of the DNS server is set correctly.
016-454
[Cause] Unable to retrieve the IP address from DNS.
[Remedy] Confirm the DNS configuration and IP address retrieve setting.
Refer to "Protocol Settings" (P.149).
016-455
[Cause] Connection to the SNTP server timed out.
[Remedy] Confirm the network cable connection and the IP address of the SNTP server
are correct.
Refer to "Machine Clock/Timers" (P.113).
016-456
[Cause] Received a message from the SNTP server stating that the server is not
synchronized with the standard time source.
[Remedy] Confirm the SNTP server settings.
Refer to "Machine Clock/Timers" (P.113).
