System expansions
If you have already mounted a blanking plate

► Remove the blanking plate (1) that the drive cage bay is secured with.
Keep the blanking cover safe for later use, e.g. if you ever remove
the optical drive again at a later date.
Ensure that you do not pull strongly on attached leads.

► Remove the screw (2) and lift the metal cover (EMC protection) secured by it off the casing (3).
If you have already installed a SmartCard reader/palm sensor
► Remove the SmartCard reader/palm sensor and associated lead (see
"
Removing the r eader/sensor", Page 87).
