When the READY LED Is Not On
If the following time have passed since the power of the
ETERNUS DX was turned on and the READY LED is still
not on, contact your maintenance engineer.

When the FAULT LED Is On
Check the general status and the system messages in ETERNUS Web GUI. Perform the necessary actions to
correct the problem. If the problem cannot be resolved, leave the
ETERNUS DX alone and contact your
maintenance engineer.

CLI" (page
26).
When the general status of ETERNUS Web GUI is
- Check whether one side of the mini SAS HD cable between enclosures is disconnected. If so, install the
connector in the DI port.
- Check if the mini SAS HD cable between enclosures is connected. If the mini SAS HD cable between
enclosures is not connected, use the following procedure to connect the mini SAS HD cable between
enclosures.
- Check that the l (IN) and n (OUT) side of the mini SAS HD cable between enclosures is connected correctly.
If the mini SAS HD cable between enclosures is connected incorrectly, use the procedure that is shown below
to reconnect it.
