8.4 Opening/Closing the Fan Cover
V CAUTION!
The actions described in this section may only be performed by
personnel with the appropriate technical training. If the fan cover is
opened without authorization or if repairs are carried out incor-
rectly, the user may be exposed to danger (electric shock, risk of
fire), or the device may be damaged.
The safety instructions in chapter “Important Information” on
page 17 must be obeyed without fail.
V CAUTION!
The fan cover must be replaced as soon as possible for purposes of
cooling, to comply with EMC regulations (regulations regarding electro-
magnetic compatibility) and to prevent fires. The fan cover must not
remain open for longer than 15 minutes.

Ê Press the locking mechanism (1).
The fan cover will open.
Ê Remove the fan cover from the housing.
Ê To close, place the fan cover on its mounting and press it onto the housing
until it clicks into place
