Chapter 7 Installing Internal Options
• In Windows 2000 Server, expansion cards inserted in PCI Slots 4 and 5 are displayed on the
[Hardware Removal] window; however, they cannot be removed. Be sure not to remove the
expansion cards.
• Some applications do not support the PHP function. Check whether your application supports this
function.
On this server, you can replace the expansion cards below using the PHP function. Note that other
expansion cards are not supported.
• Eth. Ctrl 1000-BASE-T Cu lp (PG-1892L)
• Eth. Ctrl 1000-BASE-SX Fibre LC lp (PG-1882L)
PCI Bus Clock runs with low operation clocks if the installed device has low operation clocks.
• When replacing an expansion card using the PHP function, be sure to contact
an office listed in "Contact Information" of the "Start Guide" for operation by
your maintenance support.
