Setting the mode of operation
s Press the softkey »Speak«, to set the answering machine’s mode of operation. The vari-
ous options are shown one after the other when the softkey is pressed.
»Speak« Firstthecallerhearsthesetannouncement, andcanthenleaveamessageafter
theacousticsignal.
»Announcement
only«
Acallerhears only the set announcement andcannotleave a message.
Setting the call signal duration
s Press the Active after:«softkey» to set the time interval (in seconds), after which
you wish the answering machine take the call. The various options are shown one after
the other when the softkey is pressed.
»0 sec«, »2 sec«, »5 sec«, »10 sec«, »15 sec«, »20 sec«, »25 sec«, »30
sec«, »60 sec« or »120 sec«.
Selecting an announcement
s Press the softkey»Anncm. dial«toselectthe announcement you wish a callertohear.
If several announcements are available you can display all saved announcements one af
-
ter the other by pressing the »Next announc.« softkey. At the same time you can
hear the selected announcement over the speaker or the handset of the telephone.
For example:»Anncm.-1«, »Anncm.-2«, ...., »Anncm.-9« or »Anncm.-10«.
